Type of diving:

I spent 20 years working as a helmeted commercial diver, but wreck diving has defined my life. Now living in South Florida, I love diving and spearfishing on our deeper wrecks, as well as offering advanced open circuit training in both the soft and hard overhead environments. As an instructor for TDI, I teach my own version of Advanced Wreck Diving, as well as Deco, Trimix, and Advanced Trimix. I like to share the experiences and insights that have kept me alive and thriving. For me, it is exciting to share my experience and enthusiasm with other divers with a passion for diving.

Best diving experience:

It is extremely hard for me to single out one specific diving experience, above all the others. I have been incredibly fortunate to have had the opportunities to dive some of the worlds’ most famous and challenging wrecks, such as the Andrea Doria, Lusitania, Concepcion, Atocha, Britannic, and Titanic. The wrecks I have helped to discover or identify, such as the Carolina, Golden Fleece, and the U869, all are special to me. At the same time, I have had the privilege of working with military veteran groups, such as SUDS, who introduce badly wounded veterans to diving. I believe my best diving experience will be the next one.
